One of the rarer items to find and I believe a trial model that was never issued. There are however quite a few around and Lesney sometimes had the practice of plating trial versions before painting as it was one of the things that showed up things like metal flow problems very well as some certain colours do. Then again they may have been done as gifts to give to visitors to the factory.

Still a truly beautiful model and would have complimented the Y3 Riley in paint and plated finish.
